Melissa lives in beautiful Colorado with her husband Chris and their children Ryleigh, Issiah, Layden, and Athena. During the pandemic shutdown, she found herself with a lot of time on her hands and a big imagination. This was her chance to take the stories she created and share them with the world.

Melissa is a creative individual who effortlessly allows her imagination to transport her children through fictional worlds, all while imparting important life lessons. Her passion for nurturing her children’s imaginations shines through in her enchanting children’s books.
As her kids grew older and bedtime story time came to an end, Melissa discovered her love for adult fiction—the kind that isn’t suitable for young readers and knows no limits. Inspired by a vivid dream, she shared her vision with her family, which motivated her to sit down and craft her first adult fiction novel. This experience allowed her imagination to weave a captivating story from a seemingly nonsensical dream.

As a human behaviorist, venturing into the realm of writing a chapter book was uncharted territory. However, 'The Tales of Frederick Ze Frog' and 'The Real Alien Invasions' had already taken root in her imagination. The journey of Frederic Ze Frog began when her son Layden, then just 3 years old, discovered a small frog at a campsite and brought it home, only for an eagle to swoop down and carry it away. For the next 8 years, she narrated the numerous adventures of this little frog. And indeed, he had many, many thrilling escapades. On the rare nights when their bedtime stories did not revolve around Frederick Ze Frog, the children would delight in tales of themselves rescuing small aliens after they landed on Earth.

Before she began her journey as a fiction author, Melissa pursued studies to become a Certified Human Behaviorist in both Australia and England. Drawing from her life experiences and comprehensive education, she aims to assist others in achieving a life filled with fulfillment, vitality, peace, and success. As a highly goal-driven individual, Melissa is also planning to write a book that will provide powerful tools to help you master the art of achieving your personal goals.

Melissa enjoys scrapbooking, journaling, drawing, and expanding her knowledge about science and history. Most of all, however, she loves experiencing life with her family through travel and engaging in sports like skiing and tennis.
